Our Senior Brokers (Partner/Associate Partner) play a critical role in originating, structuring, and placing business across our core speciality areas:
- Structured Reinsurance
- Managing General Agents (MGA)
- Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS)
- Legacy Transactions
- Parametric Solutions
- Captives
Responsibilities
- Business Origination: Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities with insurers, reinsurers, and capital market investors.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
- Deal Structuring & Execution: Lead the structuring, negotiation, and placement of tailored (re)insurance and capital risk transactions, ensuring optimal client solutions.
- Market Engagement: Engage with global (re)insurers, capital markets, MGAs, and other counterparties to stay ahead of industry trends, client needs, and market opportunities.
- Advisory & Insights: Provide expert advisory services to clients on (re)insurance strategies, risk management solutions, and capital optimization.
- Cross-Sector Collaboration: Collaborate across teams to maximize synergies and ensure the seamless delivery of tailored solutions.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the firm as a leader in innovative capital risk solutions.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a track record of successfully generating, structuring, and placing business in at least one of the areas: Structured Reinsurance, MGA, ILS, Legacy, Parametric, or Captives.
- Deep knowledge of global (re)insurance and capital market dynamics, with a strong network of industry relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client-facing skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to build and scale new business lines.
- Experience working across multiple geographies with a diverse client base.
